The Association was founded in 2004 and is a non-profit science popularization organization in Macau. Social groups.
After 20 years of development, it has gained recognition, support and participation from more fellow travelers, and its cohesion has been strengthened under mutual influence. Currently, there are 38 university, primary and secondary school group members. , there are more than 170 corporate and professional individual members.
The association has 7 members who have received the title of inventor from the International Federation of Inventors’ Associations (IFIA).
We used sunlight to hold solar energy stove competitions; we used the principles of fluid mechanics in the air to promote paper airplane competitions; we won the 2015 Austrian World Paper Plane Competition. The only best team award in the game and the second place with the longest idle time in the world. At the same time, in the 2018 National Paper Plane Finals, the top three in the straight-line distance race and the empty time trial were included. We plan to introduce this event to Shunde next year.
Every year, the association organizes students and expert members from various schools to compete in the mainland, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Southeast Asia and around the world; in the past, we have worked hard to cooperate with the country’s 14th Five-Year Plan Planning, the Belt and Road Initiative, and the construction and deployment of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, build an innovation and invention platform between Macao and the world, and connect international youth and corporate innovation and invention works with interaction and sharing. Over the years, we have participated in the Soong Ching Ling Children's Invention Award, National Invention Exhibition, Guangdong Children's Invention Exhibition, Shanghai International Invention Exhibition and Taiwan Kaohsiung International Invention Exhibition; One Belt and One Road countries such as: Russia, Poland, Romania, Croatia, Thailand , Malaysia and many other international invention exhibitions; every year, it wins many grand awards at invention exhibitions and a considerable number of gold, silver, bronze and other awards.
In order to support the development of invention, innovation, creation and entrepreneurship in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, we will carry out scientific and technological cooperation and exchanges. At the beginning of 2019, at my initiative and under the guidance of Yu Huarong, Secretary of the Party Committee, Executive Vice Chairman and Secretary-General of the China Invention Association, we contacted invention organizations and institutions in Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Zhuhai, Foshan, Dongguan, Zhongshan, Huizhou and Hong Kong. Relevant units initiated the establishment of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Innovation and Invention Association. After nearly half a year of preparations, at the opening ceremony of the 7th Macau International Innovation and Invention Exhibition 2019 on October 11, 2019, under the witness of all guests, the The establishment and first inauguration ceremony of the 2019-2021 directors and supervisors were held here. After the establishment of the Greater Bay Area Innovation and Invention Association, members of the Greater Bay Area will use this platform to popularize science, serve the transformation of innovation results, and also contribute to the moderate diversification and sustainable development of Macau's economy.
On March 23 last year, in order to comply with the national innovation-driven development strategy and jointly integrate the resources and advantages of young people on both sides of the Taiwan Strait and Hong Kong and Macao in the field of scientific and technological creativity and invention, Chongqing, Sichuan, Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan were organized and other invention units established the Macao-Taiwan Youth Science and Technology Innovation Alliance in Sichuan-Chongqing Port and held a youth patent incubation exhibition to create a platform for the transformation of youth science and technology innovation patent achievements. Taking youth scientific and technological innovation as the starting point, we will support the integrated development of both sides of the Taiwan Strait, the construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and the construction of the Chengdu-Chongqing twin-city economic circle, and promote cross-sector and cross-border youth exchanges and cooperation along the Belt and Road Initiative.
The Innovation Alliance hosted the 2021 China International Smart Industry Expo in Chongqing on August 23 last year․ The Youth Patent Incubation Exhibition ushered in a total of 108 works by students from 12 countries along the Belt and Road, as well as across the Taiwan Strait and Hong Kong and Macao, of which 7 patented products were successfully transformed. This “Smart Expo” focuses on creating a platform for the transformation of global youth scientific and technological innovation patent achievements, and is committed to promoting the prosperity and vigorous development of youth scientific and technological innovation.
On May 1 last year, in order to better carry out youth science education activities, strengthen the in-depth integration of political, school-enterprise associations, and promote the coordinated development of innovation and invention in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, Shunde District promoted the construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. The Leading Group Office, Macao Innovation and Invention Association, Rong-Macao Economic and Cultural Exchange Center, Shunde District Innovation and Invention Association, Shunde District Youth Growth Promotion Association and Macao Ronggui Hometown Association jointly hosted the 2021 Hong Kong and Macao Youth Shunde Tour--Macao Innovation and Invention Association Dawan District Science and Technology Innovation Tour - Shunde Station. In order to cooperate with the construction and deployment of the national “14th Five-Year Plan”, “One Belt and One Road” and “Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area”, Macao and international innovation It is a platform for inventions to enhance the interaction and sharing of innovative inventions with international youth and enterprises, thereby promoting popular science knowledge and promoting competition and exchanges in science and technology. The Association has held the International Invention Exhibition in Macau since 2011, which has always been organized by China Under the guidance of the Invention Association, and co-organized by the World Federation of Invention and Intellectual Property, the Hong Kong Federation of Invention and Innovation and the Hong Kong Invention Association, the 9th International Innovation and Invention Exhibition will be held at the Macau Science Center Convention Center from December 31, 2021 to January 2, 2022 held with grandeur.
Although the 9th International Innovation and Invention Exhibition was held online and offline, it attracted nearly 40 provinces, cities and regions from across the Taiwan Strait and Russia, Poland, Croatia, Australia, Inventors from invention organizations, schools, enterprises and individuals from 15 countries including Canada, Morocco, Iran, India, Indonesia, South Korea, Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, and the Philippines participated in the competition. A total of 479 works were exhibited, and 479 works were exhibited offline. There are 103 works. These works include those from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, Chongqing and Guizhou. Among them, there are 15 participants from Chongqing and 155 from Guizhou. Both the works and the number of participants are the highest ever.
The work of the Association plays a positive role in promoting local enterprises, schools and individuals to respect intellectual property rights and enhance independent innovation capabilities. It also promotes cross-strait and four regions, participating countries and regions and Macao exchanges and sharing in the field of innovation and invention, further promoting and popularizing science knowledge in Macao, enhancing Macao’s progress and development in science and technology, and promoting the development of Macao’s innovation and invention undertakings. , and undoubted influence.
